What Makes the dBMini Different
Mini speakers usually pick one thing to do well. The dBMiNi doesn't. At 128mm across and 0.65kg, it fits in a bag you'd already carry, but it runs a 4-driver system (3-inch woofer, 1.5-inch tweeter, dual 3.4-inch passive radiators) and pushes 40W total output.
For a mini Bluetooth speaker, that combination is genuinely unusual. Most compact speakers this size top out around 10-15W and roll off below 60Hz. The dBMini reaches 45Hz and hits 90dB without distorting at the top end.
Sound Built Into the Shape
The spherical enclosure isn't just a style decision. A round body with a symmetrical internal chamber reduces the standing waves that cause coloration in rectangular cabinets. UB+'s bass enhancement panel reinforces low frequencies passively, no extra power required, and the dual passive radiators make the bass physically visible when the music has enough low-end punch. Frequency response runs 45Hz to 20kHz, covering everything from kick drums to cymbal shimmer cleanly.
Built to Go With You
The cowhide leather strap handles one-hand carrying. IPX5 water resistance covers poolside, light rain, and outdoor use without special precautions. The 4500mAh battery delivers up to 20 hours of playback, and USB-C fast charging brings it back to full in as little as 2 hours.
Bluetooth 5.4 pairs fast, holds a stable connection at 10m, and keeps latency at 75ms, low enough for video. A 3.5mm AUX port covers wired connections when needed. Available in Pearl White, Petal Pink, Graphite Grey, and Sunrise Amber, more color options than most mini Bluetooth speaker alternatives at this output level offer.
TWS Stereo and App EQ
Pair two dBMini units via TWS, and you get true left/right stereo, not just volume doubling, but actual channel separation with a proper soundstage. Latency holds at 75ms across both units, so video sync stays intact.
The UB+ SEEK app (iOS and Android) adds custom EQ controls for bass and treble beyond the hardware buttons. If you move the mini speaker between a small room and an open outdoor space, the EQ difference is noticeable.

To give you a better idea on what this speaker is... it's almost a two foot speaker and it's shaped like a lantern that weighs 22lbs. For years I have been searching for a replacement speaker as the Xboom is too big to take to places. Actually I'll be selling it and buying another UB+ db mini speaker so I can make it a surround system for movies. Do you love to watch movies like you are in a theater?? I know I do, this little tiny speaker that weighs about a pound and a half. Before receiving the speaker I did my diligence and looked at the reviews on YouTube and wow, I thought, could it actually be louder than my big speaker? But when I received the speaker today, FedeX delivered it, brought it inside and started to open the box, took it out... and thought oh that's cute. turned it on... and wow the sound is so RICH. paired it to my iPhone and put on a bassy song and turned it up... The bass hits your chest and is actually louder than the LG XBoom. I don't have to turn it up loud to hear it... on my laptop it's at 10 out of a 100 and it's comfortable. I am going to buy another one... 100%

What should I do if the firmware update stops?
1.There are two common situations:
A.If you switched to another app (iOS users):
Exit UB+ SEEK (swipe up to close it).
Reopen the app — the update will resume automatically.
B.If the update stops without switching apps:
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds (master reset).
Exit and reopen UB+ SEEK.
Follow the prompt to restart the firmware update.
2.Important:
During firmware updates, please stay inside the UB+ SEEK app. iOS restrictions prevent background updates and may interrupt the process
How do I perform a Master Reset on my speaker?
To perform a Master Reset:
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds until the speaker restarts.
